Barbara Hans ist Professorin für Kultur- und Medienmanagement an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater. Sie leitet das Institut für Kultur- und Medienmanagement (KMM) und ist dort zudem Gleichstellungs- und Antidiskriminierungsbeauftragte. 

Mit dem Mindful Media Lab initiiert sie einen strukturierten Diskurs über mentale Gesundheit im Journalismus und setzt sich für eine nachhaltige Verankerung des Themas in Ausbildung und Redaktionskultur ein. 

Fabian Lehmann is a research fellow at the KMM Institute. Previously, he worked as a freelance cultural journalist, writing for publications such as *taz*, *der Freitag*, *Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung* and *Perspektive Daily*. He covered the impact of the coronavirus crisis as an editor and reporter for the daily newspaper *Der Prignitzer* in Wittenberge.

He studied cultural studies at Leuphana University of Lüneburg and completed his PhD at the University of Bayreuth in the subject ‘Arts in Africa’, focusing on contemporary art in Namibia.

Christiane Löll is a research fellow at the KMM Institute, as well as a qualified doctor and journalist. Until August 2023, she worked for Gruner + Jahr/RTL, most recently as editorial director (GEO/P.M.), and played a key role in driving change and transformation.

Following the sale of P.M., she oversaw the transfer of operations until 2024 and completed an EMBA in Media Management (Hamburg Media School). Other roles include: dpa, Médecins Sans Frontières, freelance work and the theatre collective Rimini Protokoll. 

Anna von Garmissen is a journalism researcher and media specialist. Her main focus is on the situation of journalists in the context of digital transformation and increasing pressures. She has been working at the KMM since March 2026. In addition, as education officer, she is responsible for the continuing professional development programme of the German Journalists’ Association of North Rhine-Westphalia.

From 2021 to 2026, she conducted research at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans Bredow Institute (HBI) (global study series “Worlds of Journalism”). Previous roles of the qualified journalist include: head of the research team at ProQuote Medien, and editor-in-chief of the media magazine “journalist”.

Nora Wagner is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Culture and Media Management at the KMM. Previously, she worked as a programme manager at the Körber Foundation, where she was responsible for Code Week Hamburg, and was a member of the management team at the Performing Arts Festival Berlin. Her focus is on network-based and collective structures that work together to create spaces for exchange and learning that accommodate diverse perspectives.
