Hate comments, political hostility, upheaval through AI, shifting business models: a lot is in motion in journalism. These pressures are not individual misfortunes but structural — and they affect press freedom. 

That's the question at the public launch event of the Mindful Media Lab, our centre of excellence for resilience in the media. Our guest: Dr Gregor Peter Schmitz, Editor-in-Chief of Stern, in conversation about hostility towards journalists and its consequences. Moderation: Prof Dr Barbara Hans.
